[+] Here, FD in CF points out the conflct of interest that exists between Kent and Alcor, again-- it isn't the first time-- and Maxim looks at it with a fresh perspective too, noting that Kent's own future cryopreservation will be handled by Alcor-- without being "usurped" by anyone-- since Kent is an Alcor member. She also points to the idea, again, that SA might be fulfilling some sort of a financial function associted with LEF-- These are serious views and with the upcoming Alcor conference, I think it's going to look increasingly bad if these views are not responded to-- The best way for top cryonics people to publish is through their own blog-- and short of that-- to their CryoNet author cross index. Kent last published in his CryoNet blog-- on the topic of SA no less-- in 2002. [+] He hasn't posted ONCE since then-- how many years is that-- five? MRiskin is the longest sitting board member in Alcor's history. The "deep awareness" of the realities in cryonics-- including the issue of Kent's Alcor membership and the conflict of interest with SA-- resides in his mind in the most integrated fashion. In other words, let's start looking at WHO has answers fort he questions that Maxim and FD raise. We KNOW "they" know more than us-- and now with the "blog"-- we have a very good way to get ideas published that rivals the Caxton printing press and Ben Franklin's anonymous newspaper articles. The last chink in the armor of silence is the disire and will to include all cryonicists in the comprehensive understanding of the situation.
