Personal ATP (miniature) perfusion kit-based household.

If the key feature of the ATP is the miniaturization-- and if the key to a high quality cryonics case-- is onsite perfusion made possible with ATP or MPK (miniature perfusion kit)-- with a qualified person-- then it stands to reason that the wealthy cryos are doing just that-- hiring their own perfusionist and having an onsite MPK. (ATP).

The wealthy NEVER considered a cryonics community even for retirement because they have always preferred to pay for onsite perfusion tech. Poor cryos can do the same if they band together. They need a kit and a top flight person. Maxim would be ideal-- If some cryos were to live near Maxim-- since Maxim prefers Florida-- and pitch in on an miniature perfusion kit (MPK)-- you would have the most essential features of cryonics right there. If any hospital with a perfusionist had this equipment, they could be a cryonics-capable hospital.

The essential and most critical phase of the cryonics process-- is dealt with by that ATP-- that's why Harris is concentrating on it. And a new version probably circumvetns patents-- and there may be a patented part of it-- that DOES need to be purchased at high cost through CCR. This line of thought should be investigated. I may be wrong on several counts here-- but this is the direction I'm facing now-- Cryonicists should locate not near a cryonics lab but rather locate near a pro-cryonics perfusionist who can run an ATP and store the ATP in the garage. This increases the potential for "mini-cryonics-labs" dotted all over the country.

Alcor's program of setting up mini-sites in Canada (Calgary?)-- or other cities where they've done training-- becomes more interesting now-- since each group of cryonicists can now have their own perfusionist and ATP. How far can we push this idea-- or am I on the wrong track?
