Did C81 have a will that specified CI preserve him?

Quick review
I have considered the handover of C81 to SA to be the most single most important problem in this cryonics case. I have a feeling that something isn't right with it. C81 was not an SA client-- and at the last minute, the son who is not signed up with CI or any cryonics firm, had the ability to sign off on giving CI president Ben Best permission to call SA in on the case, which Ben promptly did after getting a reduced rate from SA-- ostensibly because there was no standby. The pricing for SA cases is clearly stated however and standby is extra anyway.

Ideal CI case lost to SA
This entire case involved one of the best set of circumstances of all recent otherwise "messy" CI cases-- C81 was fully funded and lived within a reasonable distance of the CI lab. This should have been a CI managed cryonic suspension-- especially since C81 had attended the SA conference with his son and NOT signed up. Ben wrote, in his report, that only C81 knows why he didn't sign up, but this is clearly not credible. Certainly the son would know too, but the son chooses to remain anonymous for personal privacy reasons-- a perfect cover.

Pricing factor suspicious
SHarris wrote, in CF, that it's possible that SA pricing played a role but even if that's true, it doesn't explain why SA dropped the price at the last minute for this particular case. Ben writes that it would be good for SA-- among others-- since they hadn't had a case in a while. What is a CI cryonics member, however? A basketball? To be bounced around for practise? The price drop isn't given in detail even though the CI site clearly states the SA pricing, where standby is extra. The fact that SA had to travel the extra 1600 miles in a set of comlicated manuevres put C81 at higher risk than he had to be for quick cooldown after deanimation, compared to what might have been the case had CI handled the case-- a case well within the reasaonable reach of the CI lab and local CI support services.

How would CI have fared?
The question of how good CI's local situation is comes into focus here and I'll zero in on that soon, along with the history of its local capability.

Why was C81 turned over to SA, really?
I'm not satisfied with the reasons given for the turnover of this CI contract to SA-- and I'm highly suspicious of SA and the motives of Saul and Bill with regard to SA. I don't understand why it exists in the first place, given saul and bill are member of alcor, like me. MMaxim has raised serious questions about SA that puts things in an entirely different light than the advertised one. SHarris's argument is that they can do what they want with their money, but that argument ignores the basic overarching ethical consideration that we're all in this together and we owe each other some modicum of explanation for privateer-type moanuevres that affect the entire cryonics industry.

Did C81 have a will?
This morning, given this background, I ask "What would C81 have had to have done to be sure that CI processed his dead body locally?"... or "Did C81 have a will? Would a will specifying CI preserve him have made a difference?".
