Where is the "center" of cryonics thought/action?

There are reference points too numerous to mention in terms of cryonics-- but we have to find the center-- the leading edge. Certainly the vitrication process that the cryobiologists are looking at is an element. SA was going to be an element-- but it has serious problems. People in the center-- who should be blogging-- and transmittings signals out to us are not doing so. Patents at 21cm by Wowk, F*hy etc... these are elements of the center.... and the context in which cryonic sits, the so called transhuman effort-- has to be characterized too-- although I would say that the "deep pockets" involved with Alcor are more centered-- thatn th'ism... -- I don't think deep pockets are th'ers... although Kurzweil represents a certain breed. It's very tricky.

Maxim represents a reference point-- Certainly all fhe online media and paper media in cryonics represent some sorr of indicator as to what's really going, but they don't cover the funeral industry, the politics of funeral law in AZ-- and the continued look at Stump who was the last big legal reference for all of cryonics. I would say in the larger legal context, the USA constitution serves as a reference point-- then you have oddballs like Waker who are anti-constitutionalist. I've recently discussed the origins of the founding of the USA and certain onliners like unperson think it was elitist from the getgo-- not republican at all-- yet I don't see any other constitution in the world referrring to General Welfare-- as does the preamble in the USA constitution as LArouche points out. Searcy-- debated me on the meaning of General Welfare but he's libertarain and anti-statist-- minimal statism can't do projects of huge importance that don't create business acceptable returns.. that takes good statesman ship.

Anyway my point here is that cryonics is a singular imporant idea-- obviously-- Ettinger was quite right to point it out-- although even he didn't frame it right-- and failed recently to frame it again with Youniverse. And besides, Cooper's book once put out by Venturists is no longer published AGAIN-- why not? A quick pdf or photocopy should be available-- and this points again to the odd absence on important matters of the big money involved in cryonics-- which people keep denying despite the ongoing income, say, to TW's estate... which is not documennted by Alcor which hasn't even produced finanancial statements for 2006...

The center of cryonics, both macroscopically and microscopically-- or what I call macro and micro cryonics-- after the same usage of semantics in economics-- is either intentionally or unintentionally foggy. The ostensible center of references-- like Cryonics mag or the Alcor conferenes-- appear more as fronts to me than anything. No serious gloves off debate is carried forward... Wowk is a central reference of course-- although he frames cryonics as strictly medical... so using him for any larger contextual work is completely and totally hopeless.

For me, as for anyone of course, we can always start with our own view as central. I guess I'll start there. I'm not claiming to be the center of the cryonics world, but short of any other real indicators that are attractive to me, I have no choice but to at least begin there.
