Transhumanist conference in Chicago is soaking up attention but Cheney about to nuke Iran

So called transhumanists-- who don't differentiate between man, animal or subhuman-- let alone superhuman-- are meeting in Chicago. Bill Shatner, Captain Kirk is on hand. Amazing. [+]. I doubt Kirk will sign up for cryonics. I've already asked Spock (Nimoy) and he turned me down. On the Mike Douglas show years back, all the Star Trek crew didn't even want to go into space. Too dangerous they say. I'll say. They probably know space radiation kills and that the manned moon landing was a hoax. Thanks to MPlus for posting to CF to update cryonics readers on this event. I had forgotten about it. Maybe intentionally. I'm too busy paying attention to the Cheney fiasco and the building warships in the Gult and BAy of Bengal. THer's are sort of "out of it" I think.
