It's been suggest to me more than once that I would get a "bad cryopreservation" if I critisized Alcor.

I can't write to this topic right now-- too much to do-- but I'm posting this as a marker so that later, I can draw attention to the repeated velied threats I've had over the years that if I persist in critisizing Alcor, that I would be subject to having my membership revoked to getting a bad suspension. Last night, I got a post in this blog forwarded to me by email (all my previous posts forward response to my email so none get lost as in a N54 forum)-- that suggtested that a cryonics rescue team simply would not show up at my deanimation-- and that that would be legal for them to do. The poster put what amounted to a sort of proof of this in the post-- but I don't quite follow it. I'll look at it later. The idea that Alcor rescue teams can dilly dally on members they "don't like"-- and move pronto for members they DO like-- is one of those crazy issues that only small fraction of the small fraction of cryonics people are interested in. It's theoretically very interesting however. I think it should be catalogue alphabetcially as a potential concern here. My own counter defense on that point right now would be to encourage everyone to always examine the details of timeline in a case report-- especially mine-- That won't save me if my preservation was intentionlly delayed or not done-- but the continued checking by members of timelines on timely reports would over the long run-- influence Alcor or any cryonics org. In fact, we could start looking at case reports today for timeline timeliness.... and in that context we need a cataloging of every case-- and when a case happens we members need instant notification so we can track it like NASA tracked the astronauts in orbit around the EArth while they faked the moon landings, scripted by Kubrick. The NASA control center, with a big screen like the Star Enterprise and all the engineers in their white shirts and personal screens is sort of like cryonicsts on their home computers on the internet--- when a preservation is occuring-- we should moniter it like that.

OK, this is what I heard from the group of 6--that when you are cryopreserved, they are going to kill a dog and cut out a big part of its brain, and cut out a big part of your brain and swap the two parts. They will they cryopreserve both you AND the dog.

THat way when you are revived, you will be part dog, and the dog will be part you.
