Cryonicists attitudes toward thermonuclear war represented by Faloon & Pizer most notably.

The general attitude of most cryonicists seem to be represented by vitamin-catalog-disguised-as-magazine publisher Bill Faloon and car salesman turned real estate mogal and highway roadside love-motel operator Dave Pizer.

In a fairly recent edition of the vitiman catalog, Bill Faloon had featured an article about what vitamin to take for anti-radiation immune functioning of the body-- and published maps of where the most likely places in the US are to be hit by big nuclear powered bombs. Dave Pizer has said, in Cryonet, that the location of his motel would avoid the chaos of the city in the event of chaos in Phoenix in such an event. [+] [+] Here's the real gem....

We are constructing 17 cabins (1 St. phase and more cabins later), and a
lodge along the Big Bug creek. The lodge has a basement that is earth
sheltered on three sides and has two stories above it, so it has natural
radiation protection in some of its basement rooms. The basement is 4,000
square feet.

Yeah-- right. What you will NOT find coming from these empirical sensory-only input people who operate on formal logic as though human society is a computer and we're all chips-- is a line of reasoning about political frames for the future that avoid thermonuclear war. And you certainly won't find featured in Dave's Cryonet posts or Bill's catalog-disguised-as-a-magazine the political analysis that ridicules the notion that "terrorists with boxcutters hijacked several jetliners" on 9/11. These cryonicists can't think that abstractly.

The avoidance of general thermonuclear war is best analyzed from a Classical Humanist point of view, most aptly represented these days in EIR magazine-- a publication of Lyndon Larouche whose popularity outside the USA is even more intense than inside the USA-- where he's been unfairly maligned and smeared. Cryonicists truly interested in the future-- as I know mark Plus and others are-- should drop their preconcieved notions of what Classical Humanism and Lyndon Larouche are-- and raise their minds to the level where they become human again-- in the sense that there is a thought process that entails general principles of the universe. Short sighted empirical thinking and formal logic simply won't cut it. The next generation of cryonicists will look back on my posts here and marvel-- they'll say I had it right. That is-- if war is avoided. The Pizer/Faloon theory that it can be survivable is laughable. That's just unbounded ego talking. General war will NOT be survivable by anyone including anti-radiation pill takers and mountain basement dwellers.
