Cold Filter is no longer a valid "forum" venue-- it's an FD-blog essentially.

There are several cryonics-oriented blogs-- only several-- out there today... but I surmise that there will be more-- if cryonics is to succeed. The day of the so-called "discussion forum" was over some time ago-- and certainly the day of Cold Filter-- is over as of 2007 because there you have essentailly what amounts to an FD-blog. FD is a constant factor at CF-- and even though others post-- and others even start new threads-- the essential ingredient to CF's ongoing-ness is FD. Even Maxim, whose independent line of research and investigation of SA, got whirled in by the mind-controlling FD-- who is not signed up for cryonics and who lately indicated to me that I ought not frame cryonics in context of a larger world view-- but rather stick to cryonics. He even suggested I go back to a forum format-- with NO TAGS-- no alphabetically ordered points of attack. So-- with that CALL-- I now call CF for what it IS-- an FD-effecitve-blog.... and not a very good one.

The MEDIUM of CF/n54 fails to create the overall picture of what is going on in cryonics. No single medium can be expected to do that-- but a combination of media can begin to approach that. The beginning of that approach for cryonics NOW consists NOT visiting FD in his parlor-- but rather AVOIDING CF for a month at a time-- which is my plan-- I won't check in till Aug 23-- and the recommended survey of cryonics now consists of checking the CryoNet archiive page and google blogsearch under keywrod cryonics-- both by date-- and by relevence. Blogs are the ticket now. Alpha blogs represent the best form of blog. Thoughtful tags can allow a reader to quicklky gain a matrixed overview of a situation.

At this point in American History-- we see the first generation of cryonicists in their end game-- Ettinger, Kent, Pizer etc... the next generation absorbed in the situation as it is-- the world situation with 6.5 billoin people, with water shortages, confined to the planet by space radiation-- the manned moon landings having been a hoax-- an oligarchical conspiracy having controlled US Congress so that Cheney-- a tool of Shultz-- a lacky of higher powers that wish to destroy the nation-state- and go Global-- so that Cheney isn't impeached....Cryonics being full of narrow reductionsists... whose brains are probably not operating in a "whole brain" fashion consistent with brainwave therapeutically beneficial integrity...

Human lifespan-- still less than a hundred years... The ENTIRE situation has to be viewed as an entirety-- Mark Plus-- idiot savant-- buys into the Peak OIl hoax-- continuously-- the generation of cryos currently in place are NOT the people who will solve the cryonics problem. The problems stacked up since post WWII have to be reversed according to Universal Principles-- studied most aptly by the Larouche people-- who have been maligned but who represent the future of the planet and of humanity. The prolongevity stance is favored there-- and that is the point of origin for a new cryonics mission-- of true cryoneers. However that takes shape, I have no idea at this point-- but the wreckless disregard for humanity expressed by the first and second genreration cryos is contemptible.

In any case, the future of net publishing begins with an alpha quarterly blog. Without it, there is no soapbox. Without a soapbox, we move to the ballotbox, jurybox and ammunition box. I'd rather build a better soapbox. You can have a soapbox too-- with an alphabetically tagged blog. Without it-- you'll simply end up moving through the boxes one way or another.
