The attentional direction of CF is controlled by FD alone now. Hinek has rescinded ALL editorial control and has made himself into a mere technical operator-- with no attentional directional facility. My original intent in creating Cold Filter-- yes-- I created Cold Filter-- believe it or now-- was to stimulate someone other than me-- in fact to stimulate many cryonicists to begin threaded forums-- and then to tie them together in a reference page called CryoDisc. Some of you remember that. The point was to stimulate cryonicists to carry and moderate their own conversations where we would visit one another. Instead, what happened was that cryonicists used CF as the main area for discussing anything-- a few particularly good online writers got control of the thing-- FD in the case of CF-- and nobody other than hinek took up the call to create a discussion board. Now, CF is nothing-- other than an FD reference point-- so keep that in mind when you visit CF.

The preferred method for online communications among cryos now-- is to use CryoNet as the hub for referencing your own blog-- and more and more cryonicists ARE blogging-- because a well done blog with alpha tags is far more useful than a threaded forum-- as interesting as that experiment was, it's over-- it's prone to being overrun-- by nasty interlocuters-- stealing attention from points, misdirecting and causeing no end of variations on problems-- where as a blog is MUCH more eidtorially secure with feedback possibilities. Blogs are easily spotted on Google blogsearch now-- and this is what made the big difference for me-- starting in Jan 06 when I began encouraning cryos to blog.

The recent cryonics stars to use CF-- Harris and Maxim-- gave a lift to CF's boring FD output-- which is EXCLUSIVELY targeted at Alcor's financial situation-- so this forum should be called FD's Alcor Finance Critique-- period-- The CF "pretense" that it's a general discussion area should be set straight-- it's not-- anymore. Because it doesn't lend itself to CREATION of new ideas in a COHERENT way. The ONLY way to be coherent, online, is through something that lends itself to an alphabetical listing because the alphabatized items give the reader a CLUE as to what's possible. Alpha listing TRUMP search engines-- so Cryonet's search engine for example is virtually useless-- without clues as to whwere to go.

Maxim is the primary star of cryonics in summer 2007 because she has a new blog that targets the truth vs. reality at SA Inc-- which was promoted as being a potentially useful element in the cryonics industry-- and we see behind the scenese what the reality is-- with NO comments by Bill and Saul-- which IS HIGHLY IRRESPONSIBLE considering the advertised features of SA-- which makes SAUL AND BILL guilty of FALSE ADVERTSIING-- and all cryo bigshots guilty of participation in a FRAUD in this way-- because NONE of them has spoken up..... but I digress. This post is about the FAKE discussion board Cold Filter-- which IS an FD Alcor finance critic area-- with occasional digressions to other cryonics realted topics.

Here's the clincher-- my morning shit-- For big shots in cryonics-- you know who you are-- and we all know who you are-- for cryobigshots to NOT BLOG-- let alone blog alphabetically (slightly forgivable but not for long)-- is to be IRRESPONSIBLE to the cryonics comunity and the world at large. Now-- take Merkle for example. Nice web page.... for what? 1995? Get with the program Merkle. Blog for heaven's sake. With a mind like yours, you can be WAY more effective, current and readable with a blog-- blogger.com having a proven technological and literary superiority over the other junk blogs out there.

Kent and Faloon-- no blog... not even a COMMERCIALLY related blog... which is, as 2007 moves on-- UN forgivable... and it'll be seen this way in history too.

FD-- bastard. Good finance critic-- but a bastard as far as I'm concerned. No need to expose real names as he did recently AGAIN -- using another item as a "front"-- just a dirty way to do things-- very dirty... Note that the dirt started when he TOOK OVER cold filter-- didn't have the moxy to start his own n54 forum.... and Hinek-- well-- I see exactly what he's attempting to do-- establish a point of refernce based merely on stability-- like Brown-- but this leads nowhere in terms of ideas...

The entire cryonics industry has a CORRUPT component-- a dark side-- just like the moon. And the dark side of cryonics-- is affecting the light side so that we're not getting the true picture here.
