FD's response is good-- I think it's accurate. However, FD seems to think a deal can be made with Saul and Bill-- note he writes "if we're nice to them".

I now view Saul and Bill as harmful to Alcor and cryonics, however. They're renegades who simply refuse to cooperate with Alcor-- They could have helped Alcor's capability and world-wide abilities-- but they insist on trying to take care of their own hides first-- and this is clearly counter productive-- aside from all our time their wasting by us having to figure out what they're up to. In history, they'll clearly be seen as dickheads.

If they had helped the group dynamics, they would have helped themselves. They can't see that because they're ignorant of human dynamics. They're not futurists. They're cryonics cavemen-- protruding foreheads and all.

Also note that FD correctly surmises that the rest of the cryonics community are too "bashful"-- this is an indictment of the society of cryonicists as well-- that Maxim makes valid points and nobody responds... other than FD-- who is clearly by far the most vocal and articulate of cryonicsi critics. This demonstrates fear in the land of cryonics-- EVeryone is far too beholden to the KFC group to even squeak let along yell. In my view, that's horrible. Going along to get along and sacrificing truth is the path to hell.
