Alcor-- weather in Scottsale

Here's a thread in CF on weather in Phoenix/Scottsdale where Alcor is located. [+] Today it's 110f, another record. Monsoons didn't hit very hard--came and went quick-- it's really bad heat with no water this years. Sucks big time. Any cryo would be advised to not move here. Long term cryonics plans-- say over next 50 years-- as a time frame-- should be reconsidered in terms of location. Pizer's plan to move the whole operation to his area in Mayer might actually begin to make some sense IF ONLY from the weather persective. Where's the LN2 plant? Around there somewhere-- I recall seeing one-- THAT should be researched independent of what anyone currently talking on the internets says. In terms of weather, traffic, etc.. moving Alcor ot Scottsdale in my view--was a mistake and we could have done better. Shooting for physical immortality shouldn't involve having to live in hell. Why the hell didn't Alcor move to FAR Northern California? -- past the san adreaus fault? There's lots of CA left north of the bay area.

[+] Record heat pointed out by FD. (Is FD in AZ, in Phx?)
